DAY 1
WELCOME TO GREECE
On arrival at Athens airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Athens, the enchanting capital of Greece, has always been a birthplace for civilization. It is the city where democracy was born and which was once the centre of the ancient World. Today, on a Greece vacation, it is the political, social, cultural, financial and commercial centre of Greece.
The sun shines in Athens all year round and it has one of the best climates in Europe with mild winters and hot summers. Athens and the surrounding area have some of the most important archaeological monuments in the country on Greek vacations. Who hasn’t heard of the Acropolis, the most important site in the city and one of the most recognizable monuments in the world.
On top of the Acropolis is the Parthenon, the most important and characteristic monument of the ancient Greek civilization which still remains its international symbol. It was dedicated to Athena Parthenos (the Virgin), the patron goddess of Athens and was built between 447 and 438 B.C. The Parthenon is a Doric temple and a true symbol of ancient Greek culture. Syntagma is the square in front of the Parliament, formerly the King's Palace, and is considered the main square of Athens. The square is a central point to access all the major attractions of Athens, particularly 'Museum Mile' along Vassilissis Sophias Avenue Here most of Athens’ museums are located including the Benaki Museum, Museum of Cycladic Art and the Byzantine Museum. At the bottom part of Syntagma Square is Ermou Street, the main shopping district of Athens.
The Plaka is a self-contained area. It is the old historical neighbourhood of Athens, clustered around the northern and eastern slopes of the Acropolis and incorporates a labyrinth of streets and neoclassical architecture. It is known as the "Neighbourhood of the Gods" due to its proximity to the Acropolis and its many archaeological sites. It is also the site of many open air restaurants. Monastiraki, literally meaning little monastery, is a flea market neighbourhood in the old town and is one of the principal shopping districts of Athens. The area is home to clothing boutiques, souvenir shops, and speciality stores, and is a major tourist attraction on trips to Greece for bargain shopping
DAY 2
ATHENS CITY TOUR
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will have a half day Athens city tour.

On the way to the Acropolis you will make a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium where the first modern Olympic Games were help in 1896, you will see the temple of Olympian Zeus and the Hadrian’s Arch.
At the Acropolis, you will visit the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erectheion and finally “the harmony between material and sprit”, the monument that “puts order in the mind”, the Parthenon.
Free time in afternoon and dinner on their own.
DAY 3
MYKONOS
After breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred to Athens port for a high speed ferry to Mykonos in economy class.
On arrival in Mykonos you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Mykonos belongs to the Cyclades group of islands. Although it has acquired a reputation as a fun place to spend time in, there is much more to Mykonos than its nightlife and excellent beaches on a Greece vacation.
The main town of Mykonos, also known as Chora, is very picturesque with its maze of narrow streets and harbour area. The streets are full of shops, boutiques, art galleries, cafes, bars and restaurants. As you stroll through the narrow streets, you will pass by whitewashed houses with colourful doors and window frames, bougainvillea trees in bloom and hidden churches. On the lively waterfront where the ships dock, there are fleets of fishing vessels bobbing up and down.
On trips to Greece, one of the most scenic parts of Mykonos is Alefkantra or “Little Venice”, an 18th Century district, dominated by mansions with colourful balconies and stylish windows. Little Venice is known for its picturesque medieval houses which literally hang over the edge of the sea. The sunset here is renowned and it is a good time to sit and drink your favourite beverage while watching the sun go down.
Relax at a waterfront café and admire the view of the quaint windmills standing imposingly on the hillside above, set against a luminous blue backdrop. These windmills are a trademark of Mykonos. They are dotted around the island but most of them can be found around the town. They were originally built by the Venetians in the 16th century to mill flour.
If you are looking for the most lively and active beaches on a Greece vacation, then head to Paradise Beach and Super Paradise Beach where you will find more active lifestyle attractions. If you want to get away from everything, go to Ano Mera, a small typical Greek village in the centre of the island which has a monastery and a few tavernas.
DAY 4
SANTORINI
After breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred to the Mykonos port for your high speed ferry to Santorini in economy class.
Santorini is part of the Cyclades group of islands. It is an island, on a Greece vacation that you might imagine as archetypal Greek Island with its white-washed houses and churches and blue sky. This very beautiful island was formed from a huge volcanic eruption which created a large lagoon in the middle of the island. It is consequently surrounded by steep cliffs on three sides. It still has an active volcano, the only one in the world whose crater is in the sea. The last big eruption occurred 3,600 years ago. Santorini has a reputation as being a romantic island with its crystal-clear waters perched on the rim of a volcano in the middle of the sea - add to this its amazing sunsets.
The capital is Fira, a town of proverbial white-washed houses which lies on top of a series of high cliffs. It is where you will be rewarded with panoramic views of the island and an amazing view of the volcano on trips to Greece. It is in Fira, on travel to Greece, that you can sit at a café, bar or restaurant and enjoy wonderful views of the harbour where the cruise ships call in. The Santorini Archaeological Museum inFira has exhibits from Roman times to the 5th Century AD. For more dramatic views, take the cable from the town to the top of the cliff.
Akrotiri is an ancient city dating back to the Minoan civilization (2700–1420 BC) which was rediscovered only 50 years ago when it was found under the volcanic ash from an earthquake in the 1600’s BC. You can view three-storey buildings that survived plus roads, drainage systems and pottery. Like the Roman ruins of Pompeii, it is remarkably well-preserved. Excavated artifacts are shown in the Museum of Prehistoric Thera in Fira.
Oia is a very pretty village, again situated high on a top of a cliff overlooking the sea, with cave houses and restaurants built into the cliff edge. This is a place for white- washed blue domed churches and charming, traditional Cycladic houses. Impressive houses in the town are "cliff houses" built in the niches carved into the caldera keeping them warm in winter and cool in summer. There are several small art galleries including the Art Gallery Oia. The town also has numerous restored churches. One of the most popular attractions in the town is to watch the sun set. This is a special event every evening as the sunset lights up the houses.
Santorini is also known for its wine production which comes from its many vineyards scattered around the island. The most popular is the sweet and strong Vinsanto, a dessert wine.
DAY 5
SANTORINI - SUNSET CATAMARAN CRUISE
Breakfast at the hotel and the day is at leisure. Later you will be transferred for your cruise.
Santorini: Sunset Catamaran with BBQ Dinner Cruise – not private
This afternoon you will be transferred from your hotel in Santorini to Vlihada Marina (in the south of the island) to join the catamaran cruise.
The first stop will be at the red beach for swimming, which is arguably one of the most famous and beautiful beaches of Santorini. It is located only some steps away from the ancient site of Akrotiri.
The small size of the beach creates a much crowded atmosphere and there are many days where most of the visitors choose not to make it all the way down to the beach and instead admire this unique landscape of red and black volcanic rocks from the headland.
Your next stop will be at the white beach for swimming and snorkeling. Snorkeling is ideal for those who would like to explore and get a feel of the underwater world of Santorini.
Your evening continues while you sail along Akrotiri and Aspronissi, and reach the hot springs. Here you can swim and enjoy a mud bath.
Your cruise this evening includes dinner, which will be served on board. The tour ends at Amoudi Bay, where a mini bus will be waiting to take you back to your hotel. (Approx. 5 hours)
